Mr. Hung said he created this software with the dream of simplifying technology, bringing digital power to every business. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JW KIM Joint Stock Company, the developer of Asia Nasa software.
From accounting software, timekeeping…
Luong Cong Nhat Hung said his startup journey was quite bumpy, starting in 2011. At that time, he had just graduated with a degree in information technology and was an assistant to the chairman of the board of directors of a company in Ho Chi Minh City.
After working for 6 years, he suddenly wanted to do something of his own but didn’t know where to start. So Hung quit his job and collaborated with a company CEO in accounting and tax.
This cooperation has started the journey of a startup making technology software that solves all difficulties in accounting and tax operations.
Having been exposed to and understood quite a bit about accounting, plus having skills in the field of information technology, writing an accounting - tax software is not too difficult for him.
But right when the application was being tested, the company announced it was out of capital, so despite his regret, Hung had to choose to leave.
Seeing it as a dead end, Hung met Mr. Kim JaeWong (currently CEO of Asia Nasa), a Korean businessman.
They saw the potential and vision of the product so they agreed to invest money for him to continue developing the product. The "new version" of Asia Nasa turned in a different direction by focusing on human resource management and timekeeping, because that is what customers need.
And that was true when the first customer, then the second, and then many other customers signed contracts one after another. Mr. Hung laughed: "If there was no revenue from those contracts, there would be no Asia Nasa now."

To the fully digital Asia Nasa ecosystem
It was not until 2019 that Mr. Hung officially returned to accounting software as his original dream. But this time it was more difficult because there were many changes.
Using technology to add accounting management and financial reporting features, integrating them into Asia Nasa on the existing platform, he then continued to design work management, project monitoring and progress features.
Catching the trend of e-commerce, Mr. Hung integrated additional features of warehouse management, sales, production and customer care. All are optimized by technology into an ecosystem.

But it was also at this time that the owner realized that Asia Nasa was too cumbersome and would be difficult for users to operate smoothly if they were not familiar with technology.
The goal was to make the software simple and easy to understand, so they started tinkering with it over and over again, turning things off and on. Each new feature added forced the team to consider hundreds of possible scenarios.
There was a time when he and his colleagues had to stay up three nights in a row just to fix a small error. And there was a time when Hung thought about giving up!
"Although it took nearly 7 years, I am now confident that the platform is complete. A software for Vietnamese people and written by people who understand Vietnamese businesses," said Mr. Hung.
The team has now applied artificial intelligence (AI) to the software, which can create a website according to the user's wishes with just a few clicks. AI maximizes its value on Asia Nasa when financial reporting procedures, accounting operations, order management and tracking, customer care, etc. can run automatically.
Asia Nasa is free for students, startups, cooperatives or farmers
Asia Nasa is currently being used by hundreds of businesses nationwide in many fields from construction, manufacturing, trade to services, administration, etc.
Anh Hung affirmed that it is free for customers in the agricultural sector and cooperatives for the simple reason that this group of customers needs digital transformation but has limited budget. In particular, Asia Nasa is free for students and start-up businesses.
For businesses, the fee for custom software development is around 1 billion VND. But the way of collecting fees is also special in that no amount is collected in advance, but when the system operates completely, smoothly and completely automatically, the value is created, "that's when we get paid" as he said.
