Pa Thien is 1,625m above sea level. This name means “mountain of heaven” – towering, touching the blue clouds.
Voi Mep, also known as Ta Linh Son, is over 1,707m high and is the highest mountain in Quang Tri province. The name “Vo Mep” comes from the shape of the mountain range which looks like a giant elephant resting in the middle of the forest.

From the Rao - Pin source gathering point, the journey to Pa Thien is about 8km long, passing through dense primeval forests, following trails covered with rotten leaves, crossing cold streams and steep slopes. When arriving, Pa Thien opens up before your eyes a vast space, white clouds drifting lazily in the blue sky.

The vegetation on the top of Pa Thien is mainly dwarf forest, with plants of the tea and rhododendron families. In the middle of that wild landscape, there are ancient tea trees of unknown age, quietly nestling beside moss-covered rocks.

From Pa Thien, going about 2km further, visitors will reach Voi Mep peak - where emotions truly explode. From this height, looking down, the sea of clouds rolls like waves, white clouds continue to pour down into the deep ravine that seems bottomless.

The operator has also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the tourism product testing support team. About 20 young Van Kieu people will participate in supporting and guiding tourist groups on their journey to conquer Voi Mep peak.
This is considered a solution to both create livelihoods for the Van Kieu people and contribute to promoting the unique cultural identity of the southwestern mountainous region of Quang Tri.
