Tung Duong said the album title has two parts, meaning the parallel of Tung Duong's voice (the voice) with timeless love songs (timeless).

If in albums like Human, Multiverse , Tung Duong freely roamed in a creative, pioneering musical space, then in The Voice - Timeless , he returned to a minimalist, narrative singing style, cherishing the beauty of the work.

The disc includes 8 songs: Alone (Lam Phuong), Lonely (Nguyen Anh 9), Regretful (Pham Duy - Huy Can), Separately in a corner of the sky (Ngo Thuy Mien), Footprints of paradise (Trinh Cong Son), Lullaby for us to mourn (Trinh Cong Son) and Will we ever love each other in this life (Pham Duy - Minh Duc Hoai Trinh).

With "classic" works, Tung Duong and musician Hong Kien spent a lot of effort to renew them.

In it, Tung Duong has changed most of his singing style and expressed the best of his voice, especially the depth of emotions from life, trips and years of experience.

Meanwhile, Hong Kien brings a diverse musical space from gentle semi-classical, a bit of improvisational jazz to emotional funky/soul style.

About 8 works familiar to many generations of Vietnamese audiences, Alone and Lonely are rich in narrative and feelings on a beautiful harmonized background with the gentle sound of strings.

"Alone" (Lam Phuong)

Ngam ngui and Noi long nguoi di are stories told through music with interesting, unexpected rhythms combined with a bit of jazzy.

Rieng Mot Coc Troi and Dau Chan Eden are innovative, clearly showing the dialogue between schools and the singer himself - Tung Duong in the past and today. The singing and harmony also expand spaces rarely seen in these songs.

The last two songs are "Ru ta ngam ngui" and "Kiep nao co yeu nhau tro lai" with personal stories and feelings at a stronger emotional level, as if to show that the artist has lonely moments but is not weak-hearted, the flow of emotions inside is always full and intense.

Musician Hong Kien said making vinyl records is difficult and making them for Tung Duong is even more difficult.

"Duong's voice is at its peak in terms of technique and experience, seemingly flying through the mixes, sometimes harmonious and leisurely, sometimes fierce and very variable. Duong is passionate, but this time his voice is tolerant, experienced and steps back to clearly see the picture of Vietnamese music through many periods," according to him.

At the event, Tung Duong's new album received many compliments from colleagues such as musician Huy Tuan, singer My Le, Bui Lan Huong...

He made this album with the desire to bring immortal songs back to today's musical life in a new way while still respecting past values.

"Footprints of Paradise" (Trinh Cong Son)

In response to comments about his surprising change in singing style, Tung Duong said he is more aware of himself than anyone else.

The witty singer said that he is old, no longer young enough to be a "big brother", and his looks are average but he has never stopped learning, researching, creating and challenging himself in his artistic activities.

Tung Duong always proactively contacts young people to renew himself, learn from thinking, creativity and access new energy sources.

Besides experimental and creative products, he still alternates projects for the purpose of honoring and expressing gratitude - which are warmly welcomed by the audience during the A50 and A80 periods of the country.

Tung Duong and 600 artists participate in the expanded National Music Festival From October 29 to November 2, 2025, the Vietnam Musicians Association coordinated with the organizing units to organize the expanded National Music Festival with the theme of Music Convergence and Spread, which will take place at the Southern Military Theater and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House.
