The 2025 National Music Festival includes two areas: Music Works Festival, Vietnamese Voice Festival and Instrumental Solos (performance festival). There are over 600 musicians and artists participating in the festival from 38 branches in provinces and cities across the country.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the festival, musician Nguyen Duc Trinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association shared: “The festival was a great success, gathering more than 600 artists and musicians. The event really exploded at the Army Theater and today continues to be spread through 'expansion' activities, strongly affirming the professionalism and vitality of Vietnamese music.”
Chairman of the festival's Art Council, People's Artist - Musician Nguyen Quang Vinh commented: "This year's festival has nearly 200 products, including songs and musical works with a harmonious combination between member musicians and singers, artists from branches, performing art units, and art training facilities across the country. Through 7 performances, a vivid and diverse artistic picture has been created."
He commented that the 2025 festival has featured many current music products, promptly responding to important political events. “It must be admitted that there are very high-quality products, bold breakthroughs in changing familiar appearances to create new pictures, with new emotions in music. However, there are still propaganda pictures in which the music sometimes has reluctant movements to serve the lyrics. The organizing committee will choose to award prizes to representative and slightly better works. We acknowledge and respect the work and creativity of musicians, singers and artists who have brought valuable music products to the festival," musician Nguyen Quang Vinh acknowledged.
