Khanh Hoa Province Department of Construction has just compiled a list of 5 large-scale projects registered to start construction and inaugurate on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of National Resistance Day (December 19) and to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.
These 5 projects have a total investment of more than 90,000 billion VND, including urban areas, resettlement areas, roads and social housing projects. Notably, the list includes the Cam Ranh Bay urban area project of a consortium of investors including Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh Investment Joint Stock Company and VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company.
Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area has a total investment capital of more than VND85,293 billion (more than USD3.2 billion), a scale of more than 1,250 hectares, expected to meet the needs of about 230,000 residents. The project will provide the market with more than 10,000 villas, 8,400 townhouses and nearly 20,000 social apartments.

It is known that the project was approved by the Prime Minister in April 2023. By February 2024, the province had approved the detailed planning project at a scale of 1/500 for zones 2 and 3 with a total scale of more than 640 hectares. By the end of May 2024, Zone 1 of the project with 613 hectares was also approved.
According to the plan, the investor will build a new, complete urban area, synchronous with technical infrastructure system; commercial housing areas, social housing and resettlement areas; public works, services for residential units and urban areas. The urban area has a length of 25km along Cam Ranh Bay.
In addition to the above project, the list of projects about to start construction in Khanh Hoa province also includes the Van Thang resettlement area (phase 1) in Van Thang and Tu Bong communes, with an area of nearly 100 hectares. The project has an estimated investment capital of about 1,385 billion VND, invested by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board. The project's objective is to arrange resettlement for people affected by key projects in the Van Phong Economic Zone.
The third project is the Dien Khanh inter-regional traffic route, more than 19km long, with an investment capital of 1,316 billion VND, connecting the areas of North Nha Trang - Dien Khanh - Suoi Hiep - Dien Tho. When completed, the route will contribute to perfecting the traffic network, expanding the space for economic and tourism development of the locality.
The fourth project is Hung Phu II social housing (2/4 Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward) invested by Nguyen Hanh Company Limited, with a total investment capital of more than VND 1,445 billion, expected to provide more than 1,200 apartments, of which nearly 1,000 are social housing.
The last project is the CT-01 social housing area in An Binh Tan urban area (Nam Nha Trang ward) invested by Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company, with a scale of 2 15-storey apartment blocks, including 772 apartments, with a total investment of more than 1,100 billion VND.
