Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee has activated the Forward Command Center and assigned leaders of key agencies such as the Standing Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police to be in charge of 11 working groups in the east and 2 groups in the west. From the night of November 5, the groups were on duty with 100% of their personnel in key areas.

In addition, the provincial rescue force was mobilized to be on duty at key locations with nearly 8,770 people. The provincial Military Command alone mobilized nearly 7,800 officers and soldiers and 92 vehicles of various types including: cars, armored vehicles, boats and 5 unmanned aircraft.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan said that the Forward Command Center is in charge of general operations, maintains 24/7 duty, receives reports from working groups and departments and branches. At the same time, proposes emergency handling measures and promptly reports to the Provincial Party Committee and the National Civil Defense Steering Committee.

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, said that military units are strictly maintaining civil defense duty in the areas forecast to be affected by storm No. 13. Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao requested military regions 4, 5 and 7 to closely monitor the storm's developments, review and complete response plans. At the same time, prepare forces, vehicles and logistics in areas at risk of flash floods, inundation and landslides.
Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao also requested the hydrometeorological sector to provide detailed forecast data for each area. Meanwhile, the authorities carefully checked the key points to ensure smooth communication.
During the storm, the forces must maintain their positions as prescribed. The people and local authorities have high expectations of the army and police, so officers and soldiers must firmly grasp their duties and ensure their own safety.
