November is a beautiful time of year in Da Lat, with many factors that make it an attractive destination for tourists choosing the city of a thousand flowers at the end of the year. In early winter, the weather is dry and cool, and wildflowers bloom abundantly, such as snow grass (pink grass), foxglove, and wild sunflowers.

One of the wildflowers that attracts many tourists to Da Lat for photo opportunities is pink grass. This shrub grows abundantly across the hills and mountains in the Golden Valley, Bald Hill, Masara Hill, and other areas.

The scene of pink grass hills glistening with dew in the early morning in the Golden Valley. This is a location near the center of Da Lat where tourists can easily find the freshest patches of pink grass.

The Golden Valley is located in Lat Dong village, Lat commune, Lac Duong district, about 15 km from the center of Da Lat city.

To capture the most stunning moments, you should arrive between 5 and 6 am when the sun is just rising, the gentle golden sunlight blending with the morning mist to create a unique and enchanting effect.

Early morning is the best time to capture the "snow grass" effect; the entire hillside looks like it's covered in snow because each blade of pink grass is filled with tiny dew drops. As the sun rises higher, the pink grass becomes more vibrant and colorful.

The pink grass season, coinciding with the end of the year, is also when many couples look for places to take wedding photos, making the pink grass hills of Da Lat an ideal destination.

In recent years, tourists and locals in Da Lat have also had the opportunity to admire the beauty of pink foxtail grass. Taller and with much larger flowers, this wild plant blooms in early winter alongside pink grass and wild sunflowers.

The foxtail grass has a gentle pinkish-purple color, with flowers that bloom like reeds but are smaller. Tourists can find hills covered with pink foxtail grass in Xuan Tho commune, east of Da Lat city, about 11 km from the city center.

Whether at dawn or dusk, the pink foxtail grass shimmers with a pink hue mixed with golden-orange sunlight, creating a natural backdrop for memorable photos.

Pink grass blooms in October and November, while pink foxtail grass blooms later, from late November to December. The blooming period is long, but the locations are very crowded with people taking photos every day, so visitors should plan early to check in during this year's grass season.
