The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot Ward has just requested relevant units to strengthen the management and development of trees during the 2025 storm season.

Accordingly, the Ward People's Committee requested the Buon Ma Thuot Construction Investment Project Management Board and Dak Lak Urban and Environment Joint Stock Company to review, inspect, and implement the work of cutting and pruning urban green trees at risk of falling and causing unsafety according to the correct procedures and techniques (pay attention to the work of reinforcing support piles and pruning newly planted trees) so that trees do not tilt, break, or fall during the rainy and stormy season; check and perform pruning of tree branches that obscure public lighting poles, signs, and traffic lights to ensure traffic safety.

Check the lighting system, fix and replace damaged or burnt bulbs. Fix the situation of lighting poles and public lighting poles that are at risk of falling, causing unsafety during stormy and windy seasons.

Ensure human resources are available to respond to natural disasters and promptly overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Focus on reviewing and replanting trees that are at risk of falling, stunting, or being affected by pests and diseases... on roads, parks, flower gardens, and small flower gardens.

Focus on implementing projects and works of parks and flower gardens that have been approved for investment policies, and at the same time review investment proposals in the following years for green parks according to approved plans.

The Department of Culture and Social Affairs is assigned to direct affiliated schools to increase inspections, contact tree management units to prune and handle dangerous trees that may fall, ensuring absolute safety for teachers, students and parents.
