Releasing more than 20 wild birds into the wild in Du Gia commune

On November 6, the Du Gia Inter-Commune Forest Ranger Team (Region XIV Forest Ranger Department) coordinated with the Police, Military Command and Economic Department of Du Gia Commune to release more than 20 wild birds, suspected to be five-colored birds and cinnamon birds, back into the natural environment. At the same time, the authorities destroyed 3 sets of illegal bird trapping nets.

Previously, on the evening of November 5, while patrolling in Khau Vac 2 village (Du Gia commune), the working group discovered a number of subjects trapping wild birds. When discovered, the subjects fled, leaving behind a cage containing more than 20 birds and trapping tools at the scene. The forest rangers made a record, temporarily seized the evidence and took the birds home to care for them, waiting to release them into the wild.

The activity was carried out to implement Document No. 534/CCKL-QLBVR dated October 20, 2025 of Tuyen Quang Forest Protection Sub-Department on strengthening the protection of forest animals, wildlife and migratory birds.

The Forest Protection Department of Region XIV calls on people to raise awareness of nature protection, resolutely condemn and denounce illegal hunting and trading of wild animals, contributing to preserving biodiversity and protecting the ecological environment.
