The conference was attended by members of the Advisory Council, representatives of the Department's professional departments and two units registered to participate in the selection: CIPTEK Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property and Center for Research and Development of Agricultural Systems.

Chrysanthemum tea has been experimentally grown in Thang Thuy commune since 2019 in the direction of clean production, without using chemicals. The typical product "Thang Thuy Chrysanthemum Tea" not only brings economic efficiency but also is associated with tourism development, forming the image of "Thang Thuy golden season" to attract tourists. This model contributes to transforming the local agricultural structure towards green - sustainable - high value. Currently, the product brings an average income of about 9 million VND/sao for fresh flowers and 12 million VND/sao for dried flowers, contributing to improving farmers' livelihoods, developing experiential tourism and promoting the local image.
At the Conference, representatives of the two units presented the content and plan for implementing the tasks. In particular, the Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property CIPTEK proposed to implement the following contents: Registering collective trademark (CTA) protection for chrysanthemum tea products of Thang Thuy commune; building a system of documents to manage CTA; designing a toolkit for brand recognition, promoting and developing the product consumption market; and at the same time building a model for managing and effectively exploiting the CTA "Chrysanthemum Tea".
Meanwhile, the Center for Research and Development of Agricultural Systems presented a plan focusing on assessing the current production status; building a dossier for registration of trademark protection; building documents and management tools; building a system for identification, communication, promotion, and product introduction; building a management organization model, testing the consumption channel for products bearing trademarks; and enhancing the capacity of owners and members using trademarks.

Based on the discussion, the Council unanimously selected the CIPTEK Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property as the unit to carry out the task. At the same time, it was requested that the presiding unit accept, edit and supplement some contents in the explanation, including: perfecting the task name; supplementing the conditions for using NHTT; paying attention to quality standards, food hygiene and safety; clearly defining the planning area for growing raw materials; unifying the production process with the people; clarifying the difference of the product compared to similar products on the market.
Concluding the Conference, Comrade Pham Huy Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, requested the selected unit to seriously absorb the Council's comments, promptly complete the explanatory documents, and send them to the Department for synthesis and submission to the City People's Committee for consideration and approval according to regulations./.
