Hoa Lu sediments

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital (Ninh Binh) is a place where natural wonders intersect with precious historical relics. In the 10th century, Hoa Lu was the first capital of Vietnam's centralized feudal system, associated with King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hành – national heroes in the unification of the country and resistance against foreign invaders.

The rugged limestone terrain was utilized to build the citadel, creating a strong natural defensive wall. The Tran dynasty later established the Vu Lam royal palace here, which became an important resistance base.
