On October 30, V-Film Film Development Joint Stock Company announced the contents of its new establishment registration. This enterprise is headquartered at Symphony Building, Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Hanoi City with a charter capital of 10 billion VND.
The company has registered 8 business lines, the main of which is the production of movies, videos and television programs. Some other registered business lines are the distribution of movies, videos, film screening, recording and music publishing.
The founding shareholders include 5 individuals and organizations. Of which, Vingroup Corporation contributed 1 billion VND, equivalent to 10% of the charter capital. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong contributed 4.5 billion VND, equivalent to 45% of the capital. Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang contributed 500 million VND, equivalent to 5%.
Ms. Pham Nhat Minh Anh contributed 1 billion VND, equivalent to 10%. Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh contributed 500 million VND, equivalent to 5%. Ms. Pham Thu Huong contributed 2.5 billion VND, equivalent to 25%.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative is Mr. Dang Thanh Thuy. Mr. Thuy is also the legal representative of Cultural Investment and Development Company Limited, Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Talent Development Joint Stock Company V-Culture Talents, and V-Spirit Event Organization Joint Stock Company.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and General Director of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company.
At the end of 2016, Vingroup established the animation studio VinTaTa. According to its introduction, this unit has 2 studios in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In 2018, this unit launched the animation series "Monta in the strange galaxy". The director of the animation studio at that time was Nguyen Phi Phi Anh.
In addition, in November 2024, Vingroup was approved by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province (now Hai Phong) to invest in the project to build Thong Nhat cinema.
This cinema has a scale of 4 floors, built on an area of 457.2m2 with a total floor area of about 1,730m2 . The project has a total investment capital of nearly 18 billion VND, implementation period 2024-2025.
