On October 31, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City announced that the trade promotion fair for Can Tho City OCOP products and regional specialties in 2025 will take place from October 30 to November 5, at residential area 5A, Phu Loi Ward. This is a large-scale event, attracting more than 400 booths from more than 15 provinces and cities across the country, creating a space for connection, product promotion and regional cultural exchange.

The fair is hosted by the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, as part of the Ok Om Bok Festival - Ngo Boat Race in Can Tho City 2025, one of the city's typical cultural and tourism events. With the theme "Connection - Cooperation - Development", this year's fair aims to promote OCOP products, enhance trade promotion, expand consumer markets and encourage businesses to innovate and create.
Typical enterprises, cooperatives and OCOP entities from many regions - from the Northern mountainous region, the Central region, the Central Highlands to the Mekong Delta bring to the fair hundreds of typical products such as agricultural products, processed foods, handicrafts, regional specialties and 5-star OCOP certified products. Thereby, visitors have the opportunity to experience and explore the cultural quintessence and typical products of each locality.
The fair space is designed in a modern style, harmonizing commercial, cultural and tourist elements. In addition to exhibition and shopping activities, visitors can also enjoy folk art performances and traditional craft demonstrations, creating a bustling and lively festival atmosphere.

According to Mr. Ha Vu Son - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, the fair is not only an opportunity to promote local OCOP products but also an opportunity to connect supply and demand, expanding the domestic goods consumption market. The event contributes to bringing OCOP products, high-quality Vietnamese goods and typical rural industrial products closer to consumers, while creating conditions for businesses to find partners, link production and distribution.
Within the framework of the fair, the organizers arranged an area to display OCOP products, nationally certified products and typical new products. This is a space to honor creative values, encourage businesses, cooperatives and OCOP entities to continue investing, improving quality, diversifying designs, meeting domestic and international market needs.
