“Bat Trang litchi” - now in An Truong commune, Hai Phong city - is one of the typical agricultural products of the Northern coastal region, famous for its delicious quality, traditional cultivation techniques and favorable natural conditions. This litchi variety has the advantage of ripening earlier than other growing regions, helping to consume quickly, reduce competitive pressure and often achieve high selling prices.

In the garden, lychee prices range from 35,000 to 60,000 VND/kg for specialty varieties such as white egg lychee and pink lychee - prices higher than the general market level. Thanks to that, many specialized growers have stable income, even reaching hundreds of millions of VND per crop. This is considered an important premise for localities to rebuild collective brands, develop sustainable production areas associated with geographical indications and high quality standards.
Presenting at the conference, the representative of the host unit emphasized the main contents including: creating and registering for protection of the collective trademark "Bat Trang litchi"; building and perfecting management tools, exploiting and developing the brand; establishing a collective trademark management model for litchi products of An Truong commune; at the same time, promoting promotional activities, developing the market and improving the capacity of agents participating in the product value chain.
Based on the explanatory content of Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company, the Council members discussed and contributed many ideas to help the research team supplement and complete the task. The Council requested the host unit to review and supplement the contents according to the feedback, focus on building solutions to overcome difficulties, at the same time promote traditional values and enhance the brand value of "Bat Trang litchi".
At the end of the conference, the Advisory Council unanimously approved the research task, requesting Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company to seriously absorb the comments, edit and complete the dossier in accordance with regulations for the Department of Science and Technology to submit to the City People's Committee for approval and implementation in the coming time.
