Up to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city has received more than 20 billion VND from units and businesses to support 10 localities that suffered heavy damage from storms No. 10 and 11.

On the afternoon of October 31, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city organized a reception of donations to support people affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the reception.

Representatives of a number of units and businesses presented funds to support people affected by storms No. 10 and 11 to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city with a total amount of more than 2 billion VND.

The donations from units and businesses will be sent by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to provinces and cities affected by storms and floods.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, sharing food and clothes, and joining hands to support people affected by natural disasters of units and businesses in the city.

He said that up to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city has allocated 34 billion VND from the Relief Fund and received more than 20 billion VND from units and businesses to support 10 localities that suffered heavy damage from storms No. 10 and 11.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city hopes to continue receiving support from units and businesses in the city to help people in disaster-affected areas quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.
