Hanoi: Opening of the Week of consulting, introducing and promoting the consumption of OCOP products

On the morning of October 22, the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of Tu Liem Ward to organize the opening of the Week of consulting, introducing and promoting the consumption of OCOP products, craft villages, and safe agricultural and food products in 2025.

The week of consulting, introducing and promoting the consumption of OCOP products, craft villages, and safe agricultural and food products in 2025 took place from October 22 to 26 at The Zei Apartment Complex (Tu Liem Ward).

The week has 50 booths with more than 500 OCOP products, craft villages, safe agricultural products and food from communes and wards of Hanoi and 14 provinces and cities across the country. Many products are sold at preferential prices to attract consumers.

Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi New Rural Development Program Coordination Office Ngo Van Ngon delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi New Rural Development Program Coordination Office Ngo Van Ngon emphasized that the week is extremely important, an opportunity to help OCOP entities connect with trade, promote brands, and promote trade.

Through the week, Hanoi hopes to continuously improve the productivity and quality of OCOP products, craft villages and especially the capacity of the subjects. This is also an opportunity for consumers to better understand agricultural products and food of Hanoi and many provinces and cities to pay attention to and use.

According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, from 2019 to now, the city has evaluated and classified 3,463 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, becoming the leading locality in the country.
