On October 22, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee to develop a Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Central Committee to be presented to the 14th National Party Congress and a Report on the implementation of the Working Regulations of the 13th Central Committee, Politburo and Secretariat.

After listening to the contributions of the members of the Steering Committee for the Report and the delegates attending the conference, the Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee highly appreciated the draft reports, noting that they comprehensively and thoroughly assessed the achievements, especially the new points. Comrade Tran Cam Tu requested the drafting teams to incorporate as many suggestions as possible from the members of the Steering Committee and participating agencies and units, and to finalize the drafts soon, reporting them to the Politburo for comments before submitting them to the 14th Plenum of the Party Central Committee.
