Lam Dong province is finalizing the last steps for the commencement and inauguration of key projects.

On the afternoon of December 11th, Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports on the preparations for the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of four projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party on December 19th.

The meeting was held in person at the provincial People's Committee headquarters and connected online to four localities and units.

Reporting at the meeting, representatives from various units, departments, and sectors stated that, to date, preparations for the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of the projects are being carried out seriously, ensuring requirements regarding progress, quality, and technical safety.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the meeting.

For the groundbreaking ceremony of the HLI – Nam Ha 2 prefabricated warehouse project , the Department of Industry and Trade has submitted a draft plan, guest list, and invitation design. Coordination activities with the investor, media outlets, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and telecommunications and electricity service providers are being implemented simultaneously.

The Department of Industry and Trade is coordinating with Nam Ha 2 Industrial Park Co., Ltd. and Hoa Long Construction Investment Joint Stock Company to prepare the site and facilities at the ceremony area according to schedule, ensuring completion by December 17, 2025.

Regarding the inauguration ceremony for the Tan Duc Industrial Park infrastructure construction and operation project, the investor and related units are actively implementing the plan. The organizational plan, program, and script for the ceremony have been developed.

The stage, layout, decorations, and facilities for delegates are in the final stages of completion. On-site installation is being carried out according to design, ensuring the project stays on schedule.

The inauguration ceremony for the Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital (formerly) upgrade project is also being urgently implemented. The Project Management Board has completed the organizational plan, guest list, communication content, and is coordinating with relevant units to develop the cultural program and project introduction video.

The site and conditions for the inauguration ceremony, such as decorations and the stage, have been largely completed. The arrangements for electricity, telecommunications, and the provincial leader's speech are being finalized and are expected to be completed before December 17, 2025.

Representatives from Project Management Board No. 1 reported on the progress of preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway construction project.

For the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project , Project Management Board No. 1 of the Department of Construction fully advised on important matters such as: proposing the organizational plan, guest list, preparing speeches for provincial leaders, and inspecting the structural safety conditions of the event area.

The units have completed drafting the plan to report to the Ministry of Construction, reviewed the technical design documents for the groundbreaking ceremony, prepared the site, and coordinated the construction of the mock-up and overall layout of the ceremony area.

The technical design review for the construction items will be carried out immediately after the signing procedures are completed and the official documents are received from the investor.

According to the Department of Construction's assessment, the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee have been largely implemented according to plan. Units are coordinating closely to ensure the successful organization of the series of groundbreaking and inauguration events for large-scale projects.

Representatives from Lam Dong Power Company reported on the preparations for the electrical infrastructure in the event areas.

At the meeting, representatives from the Provincial Police Department stated that they had directed relevant departments and the police forces in the communes where the events are taking place to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and investors to develop plans to ensure security and order. Depending on the scale of the event and the number of invited guests, the police force will implement appropriate security measures.

Representatives from the Provincial Military Command requested that departments, agencies, and project investors review their projects and, if they use drones (flycams) for filming or photography during events, proactively contact the relevant unit to complete the necessary licensing procedures as required.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai highly appreciated the timely implementation of related tasks by the agencies and units. This ensured that the projects were started and inaugurated at the crucial time to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Representatives from the Provincial Police reported on the implementation of measures to ensure security and order.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that relevant agencies and units develop scenarios and programs closely following the Government's framework. He also emphasized the need to review and compile a guest list; ensure environmental sanitation and maintain the landscape of the event venue; and ensure that decorations and ceremonial arrangements are dignified and appropriate for the event.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the relevant authorities to develop a detailed plan to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for the ceremony.

Specifically, for venues hosting live broadcasts of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies, relevant units, including the Electricity Company, VNPT, Viettel, and Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio, and Television, must conduct on-site surveys. Simultaneously, they must install telecommunications infrastructure, develop contingency plans, ensure transmission quality, and absolutely prevent any interruptions throughout the live broadcast.
