The Lam Dong Provincial Police Department is one of the units with many winning entries in the 2025 Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in the People's Police Force.

General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, and Minister of Public Security, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

On the afternoon of December 11th, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry held the Award Ceremony for the National Journalism Prize on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) and the Award Ceremony for the Political Commentary Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in the People's Public Security Force in 2025. General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry, and Minister of Public Security, presided over the ceremony.

The event was attended by members of the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, representatives of central ministries, departments and agencies, along with a large number of authors and groups of authors whose outstanding works won awards.

In 2025, in response to the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award launched by the Central Organizing Committee and the 5th Political Commentary Contest on Defending the Party's Ideological Foundation organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry launched a widespread campaign, attracting a large number of officers and soldiers from the entire force to participate.

For the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, the Organizing Committee received nearly 600 entries from police units and localities. Based on the competition plan, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 A prizes, 12 B prizes, 15 C prizes, and 15 Consolation prizes.

For the essay contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, units and localities submitted 881 entries.
