During the meeting, National Assembly Deputy Pham Van Hoa from Dong Thap province informed voters about the results of the Tenth Session.
Accordingly, taking place over 40 consecutive working days, with urgency, seriousness, a scientific spirit, innovation, and high responsibility, the Tenth Session was successfully concluded, completing all the planned content and program. The National Assembly considered and passed 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including 8 normative legal resolutions.

In addition, the National Assembly will review the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; consider and decide on personnel matters within its authority; conduct thematic supervision on "The implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect"; discuss and provide feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget, investment policies for national target programs, important national projects, and adjustments to the National Master Plan; review reports on judicial work, anti-corruption, crime prevention and control, and the results of monitoring the resolution of voters' petitions, receiving citizens, handling letters and complaints, and resolving citizens' grievances and denunciations, along with several other important issues.
Voters expressed their joy and appreciation for the results of the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Voter Dang Hoang Viet (Tan Binh hamlet) suggested that, regarding health insurance policies, consideration should be given to adding coverage for patients with serious illnesses such as diabetes and cancer. These diseases often cause complications and lead to other health problems. However, treating complications from serious illnesses is expensive, yet these conditions are not currently covered by health insurance.
Voter Nguyen Van Sau (Phu Thanh hamlet) agrees with the National Assembly's decisions that benefit the people in the fields of healthcare, education, personal income tax, land, etc.
However, voters have requested that the National Assembly reconsider the regulations on land subdivision, as they are currently cumbersome and create difficulties for the people. For example, a family with 1,000 square meters of land, divided among three children, faces difficulties in subdividing the land, even though they have built houses on it for a long time.

Some voters have suggested... There is a need for a mechanism to stabilize the prices of agricultural supplies, because currently, rice prices are low while the prices of fertilizers and pesticides are high, causing losses for rice farmers. In addition, there is a problem of counterfeit and substandard goods for some essential items, including fertilizers and pesticides. Voters request that relevant authorities strengthen control and strictly handle violations.
Voters have requested that the government strengthen preventive healthcare in accordance with the principle of "prevention is better than cure." However, in reality, due to the lack of equipment in local healthcare facilities, people have to go to higher-level hospitals for treatment when needed, causing expense and waste at the grassroots level.
The opinions and suggestions of the voters were thoroughly addressed and answered by the leaders of the departments and agencies of Dong Thap province and the People's Committee of Tan Duong commune.

Speaking at the meeting with constituents, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan acknowledged and commended the opinions and suggestions of the voters, many of which were practical and closely related to people's daily lives, such as: health insurance issues, fertilizer prices, food safety and hygiene, counterfeit goods, etc.
It was noted that 80% of these pressing issues fall under the jurisdiction of the provincial and commune levels. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that provincial and commune leaders and relevant agencies quickly develop solutions and methods for disseminating information to help people understand the regulations on health insurance, ensuring their rights are protected.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly stated that the two-tiered local government system has only been operational for a few months, so there are still many tasks to be done in the beginning. The cooperation and unity of the people are essential in building their "common home" together with the local government. Regarding any unclear or uncertain matters, the people should proactively approach leaders and officials to gain a clearer and more complete understanding, avoiding misunderstandings and mistakes, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hoped.

Regarding food safety and hygiene, preventing counterfeit and fake goods, controlling clean agricultural products, and avoiding poisoning among the people, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan said that the Party and the State are very concerned about these issues. In the past, the relevant agencies have intervened and handled many major cases involving counterfeit, fake, and substandard goods.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also hoped that farmers would raise and grow clean, safe vegetables and fish, free from banned substances and pesticide residues; avoiding the situation of "pigs raised in two pens, vegetables grown in two plots," which leads to "self-poisoning of our own people."

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan also expressed his hope that voters would always remember "Tan Duong commune is their homeland," and that each citizen would unite and work together to build a more prosperous and beautiful locality; a prosperous and beautiful locality contributes to a prosperous and beautiful country.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly noted that the social insurance and tax sectors of Dong Thap need to review overlapping and inadequate regulations, promptly explain and thoroughly resolve issues for the people, especially the tax policy for business households recently approved by the National Assembly, which is still new. The tax sector needs to organize meetings with the people and provide full information so that business households agree to fulfill their tax obligations to the State, avoiding cumbersome and costly procedures for business households.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged households in Tan Duong commune.
