
Attending the meeting with voters were Central Committee members: Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh; Chairman of the National Ethnic Council Lam Van Man; Chairman of the Committee on Law and Justice Hoang Thanh Tung; Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh; and Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee Le Quang Tung.

Reporting to voters on the results of the Tenth Session, Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Can Tho City, Le Thi Thanh Lam, said that this was the last regular session of the 15th National Assembly term, taking place immediately after the very successful 13th Conference of the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress to consider and decide on many strategic issues of special importance to the orientation of national development in the new era.

After 40 days of continuous, urgent, and serious work, with a scientific, innovative, and highly responsible spirit, the session concluded successfully, completing all the planned content and programs. The National Assembly reviewed and passed 51 laws and 8 normative resolutions; conducted a review of the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; considered and decided on personnel matters within its authority; and conducted a thematic supervision on "the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect".
The National Assembly discussed and provided feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; considered and decided on issues related to socio-economic development, the state budget, investment policies for national target programs and important national projects, and adjustments to the National Master Plan; reviewed reports on judicial work, anti-corruption, crime prevention and control, and violations of the law; and considered the results of monitoring the resolution of voters' petitions, receiving citizens, handling letters and complaints, and resolving citizens' grievances and denunciations, along with several other important issues.

During the session, the National Assembly deputies from Can Tho City strictly adhered to the Session Rules and fully participated in all activities. The deputies focused on studying the issues, actively contributed opinions, and expressed their views with a high sense of responsibility, contributing to the completion of draft laws, resolutions, and major, important socio-economic policies of the country that were passed and discussed at the session.
Specifically, the National Assembly deputies in the delegation actively participated in 171 instances of contributing opinions (including 143 opinions in group discussions; 27 opinions in plenary sessions; and 1 opinion in debate). In addition, the National Assembly deputies also participated in working sessions and conferences with the National Assembly committees of which they are members.

During the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man witnessed the leaders of the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group handing over 5.3 billion VND to support Hoa An commune in building rural roads.
Following that, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with the delegation of National Assembly deputies from Can Tho city and the city's leaders, exchanged views and clarified a number of issues of concern to voters.
