Efforts are being made to complete housing projects for residents before January 20, 2026.

The People's Public Security Force is leading the construction of 447 new houses for people in the central provinces affected by the recent storms, with a financial support of 50 million VND per house.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen chaired the meeting.

On December 13th, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held an online meeting to review the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign," a rapid effort to rebuild houses completely destroyed by storms and floods for people affected by the disaster.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Civil Defense Command, said that, following the directives of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Security, the People's Public Security force is currently leading the construction of 447 new houses for people in the central provinces affected by the recent storms, with a financial support of 50 million VND per house.

The Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security emphasized that the People's Public Security force, with the highest determination, will strive to complete all housing projects for the people before January 20, 2026, 10 days earlier than the deadline of January 31, 2026 set by the Government , contributing to helping people stabilize their lives and prepare to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

At the conference, police officers from various units and localities exchanged information on the progress of constructing housing for the people; agreed on the number of houses to be built within the framework of the "Quang Trung Campaign"; discussed difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; and proposed solutions to complete the assigned tasks as soon as possible, ensuring the quality of the construction, labor safety, and environmental hygiene.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the police forces in various units and localities in the implementation of the campaign; and affirmed that the goal of the Quang Trung Campaign was not only to rebuild new houses, but also to further strengthen the close relationship between the police force and the people in the spirit of "Serving the people" and "Leaving no one in need or behind".

The Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security requested that units continue to uphold a high sense of responsibility and strive to accelerate the progress of building houses for the people; promptly gather any difficulties and obstacles encountered during the implementation process and report them to the Ministry for resolution.

In addition, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen emphasized the need to ensure rural security, social welfare, and health safety for the people; maintain stability in people's lives; and implement solutions to restore and stabilize people's livelihoods.
