The wife of the Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited and presented gifts to support flood relief efforts in Bac Ninh Hoa commune.

On December 13th, at Nguyen Luu Primary School, Mrs. Phung Nhat Ha - wife of the Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, relative of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Luu and People's Public Security Hero Nguyen Kim Vang, along with a delegation from the Hoa Binh Education Promotion Fund, visited, encouraged, and provided gifts to support the people and students of Bac Ninh Hoa commune in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

During the program, Ms. Phung Nhat Ha and the delegation presented the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Hoa commune with 500 backpacks and 500 sets of school supplies for junior high school students, worth 305 million VND; 150 sets of clothing, worth 200 million VND, to be given to teachers and village heads; and 140 boxes of dried food, worth 56 million VND, to disadvantaged households in the commune. The delegation also donated 500 million VND to Nguyen Luu Primary School to establish the Hoa Binh Education Promotion Fund and 500 backpacks and 500 sets of school supplies, worth 355 million VND, for the school's students.

Ms. Phung Nhat Ha presented a symbolic check for 500 million VND to Nguyen Luu Primary School to establish the Hoa Binh Scholarship Fund.

On behalf of the delegation, Ms. Phung Nhat Ha expressed her condolences to the people, teachers, and students of Bac Ninh Hoa commune for the damage and losses caused by the recent floods. In response to these difficulties, the families and relatives of People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Luu and People's Public Security Hero Nguyen Kim Vang organized the donation of gifts to help encourage and share the difficulties faced by the local people and the teachers and students of Nguyen Luu Primary School. The school uniforms and learning materials are small gifts to encourage the students to overcome difficulties, continue their studies, and become good children and good students, contributing to society.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Bac Ninh Hoa Commune Party Committee and the leaders of Nguyen Luu Primary School thanked the delegation for spreading the value of love to the officials, people, and students in the area with meaningful and practical gifts and words of encouragement. They also pledged to use the supported resources promptly, transparently, and appropriately, especially the scholarships from the Hoa Binh Education Promotion Fund, to encourage, motivate, and support poor but studious students, as intended by the Hoa Binh Education Promotion Fund.
