
Leaders of departments, agencies, and Hac Thanh ward presented flowers to congratulate Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, the priests, and the heads of the parishes.
Attending the meeting were Comrade Vu Thi Huong, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Police; and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hac Thanh ward.
Representing the Thanh Hoa Diocese were Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, Bishop of the Thanh Hoa Diocese and Chairman of the Committee for Integral Human Development of the Vietnamese Bishops' Conference; priests from the Thanh Hoa Diocese; priests and parish leaders from the Cathedral and Dai Thao parishes; and the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross of Thanh Hoa.

Comrade Le Ba Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hac Thanh Ward, delivered a congratulatory speech.
In the warm and joyful atmosphere of celebrating Christmas, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hac Thanh Ward, Le Ba Hai, respectfully sends his sincere feelings, heartfelt greetings, and best wishes to Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, along with the clergy, officials, nuns, and Catholic people living in the ward.
Expressing delight at the outstanding achievements and results that Hac Thanh ward has achieved in 2025 - also the first year the ward has operated under the two-tiered local government model, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward stated that these results were significantly contributed to by the Catholic community, the clergy and officials of the Bishopric, and the parishes.
Building upon fine values and traditions, the comrade expressed his hope that Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, along with priests, dignitaries, officials, nuns, and Catholic compatriots, would continue to be united and work together with the Party committee, government, and all sectors of the people to successfully achieve the goals and tasks for 2026 and the following years, contributing to building Hac Thanh into an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and beautiful place.
On behalf of the Catholic clergy, Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, Bishop of the Thanh Hoa Diocese and Chairman of the Committee for Integral Human Development of the Vietnam Bishops' Conference, expressed his joy at the outstanding results achieved by the ward in the past period and thanked the Party Committee and the government of Hac Thanh ward for their attention to the activities of the Thanh Hoa Diocese.
Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong emphasized that the Thanh Hoa Diocese will continue to encourage and guide parishioners to uphold the tradition of patriotism, live "a good life and a virtuous life," and contribute to the further development of the ward.
On this occasion, the leaders of Hac Thanh ward presented flowers to congratulate Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, the priests, and the parish leaders.
