Enhancing the skills and expertise of commune-level officials in implementing Project 6, Program 1719.

On the morning of December 13th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province organized the opening ceremony of a training course to improve professional skills and implement the support contents of Project 6, National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, giai đoạn 2021-2030, phase I from 2021 to 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were representatives from the Department of Ethnic Cultures of Vietnam (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, and nearly 200 trainees who are civil servants working in culture and social affairs in 38 mountainous communes of Thanh Hoa province.

In his opening remarks at the training course, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Quang Trong emphasized the role, significance, and importance of the State's support policies in Project 6: "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development," under the National Target Program for socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas giai đoạn 2021-2030, phase I from 2021 to 2025, approved by Decision No. 1719/QD/TTg dated October 14, 2021 of the Prime Minister (Program 1719).

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of this project at the grassroots level in the past, such as: confusion and lack of planning and implementation skills; limitations in applying guidelines to the actual conditions at the grassroots level...

To overcome the aforementioned limitations, the training course was organized to consolidate and update knowledge and new documents, helping commune-level officials to firmly grasp the policies, regulations, and guidelines related to Project 6 and Program 1719, resolving the lack of uniformity in understanding and implementation; improving professional skills, guiding commune-level officials to resolve obstacles and difficulties, and accelerating the project implementation progress.

During the training course, participants received direct instruction from officials and experts from the Department of Culture of Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam on skills in planning, organizing and implementing activities, managing finances, building dossiers, and carrying out tasks in the fields of culture, sports , tourism, and the preservation and promotion of the cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities. They also shared experiences and methods for managing and developing effective project models on "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in conjunction with tourism development" in provinces and cities nationwide.

At the same time, experts and trainees exchanged ideas and proposed solutions to address some of the shortcomings and limitations in the project implementation process in Thanh Hoa province.
