On the afternoon of December 13th, a delegation of leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, led by Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, President of the Union, visited and presented gifts to orphaned children being cared for at the Thi An Orphanage in Phuoc Binh parish (Long Hai commune, Ho Chi Minh City).

Comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc kindly inquired about the children's living conditions, studies, and lives; and expressed deep sympathy and understanding for the hardships that orphaned children are facing. The President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the nuns, staff, and caregivers who have overcome difficulties to provide the children with a loving and safe home.

On this occasion, the delegation presented many practical gifts, contributing to bringing the children a warmer and more fulfilling Christmas season. Although the gifts were not large, they contained the affection and concern of the city's women's associations at all levels for children with special circumstances.
On the same day, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Sister Bui Thi Hong Mai (Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, Rach Dua Ward) and visited Ba Ria Parish.
