On December 13th, at the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site (An Nhon Tay commune, Ho Chi Minh City), the site, in coordination with the Tam Viet Doctors' Team, the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, and the Cu Chi Homeland Traditional Liaison Committee, organized a program to provide medical examinations, treatment, and gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Cu Chi commune and six neighboring communes.

Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nam, former Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command and Head of the Traditional Liaison Committee of Cu Chi, "The Land of Steel and Bronze," emphasized: This activity has profound significance, continuing the heroic traditions of Cu Chi not only in combat but also contributing practically to building a new life, where human kindness, camaraderie, and solidarity are always preserved and spread.

The comrade expressed his hope that agencies, units, and philanthropists would continue to cooperate to maintain the healthcare program and social welfare activities, taking care of the lives of local people in the coming years.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, 1,100 people received general medical check-ups, health consultations, and free medication from doctors and medical staff of the Tam Viet Medical Team.

Also at the program, the Organizing Committee presented 1,100 gift packages (each package including essential goods worth 300,000 VND and 300,000 VND in cash) as a small contribution to encourage families to have better conditions to celebrate the New Year in a warm and fulfilling way.

At the Ben Duoc Martyrs' Memorial, delegates expressed their profound respect and gratitude for the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs – the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
