This is not only a morning coffee session but also an opportunity to promote the fight against IUU fishing to fishermen, joining hands with fishermen nationwide to remove the "Yellow Card" warning from the European Commission (EC) for the Vietnamese seafood industry. This is also an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City leaders to listen to the opinions and suggestions of fishermen.

According to Major Nguyen Manh Hung, Political Commissar of Phuoc Tinh Border Guard Station, when taking their ships out to sea, fishermen must continuously turn on the journey monitoring device, even when anchoring back on shore for management by the authorities. At the same time, fishermen should pay attention to a number of issues that need to be implemented by fishermen, such as registration, inspection, and having a fishing license.
