Accordingly, a large mass of rock and soil fell from the mountainside, covering the entire residential area, damaging many houses and people's property.

Ateep village has 71 households with 320 people, arranged on three residential areas. Previously, the village only had two areas, but due to landslides on the positive slope, in 2022, Tay Giang district previously leveled a new area to relocate people.
The old site still has more than 10 households living there and is the area most heavily affected by this landslide.

Before the flood, on October 27, commune and village leaders inspected and warned of landslide risks, and promoted the spirit of proactive response.
As a result, people were able to move to higher ground or to their relatives’ homes in time, so their lives were not in danger. On October 28, a landslide occurred in the area that had been warned.
At present, Ateép village is isolated. The commune authorities have approached the scene and are calculating a plan to transport relief goods to the people.
