In his speech at the awarding ceremony, President Vladimir Putin emphasized: "Ms. Thai Huong, leader of the largest agricultural corporation in Vietnam, is implementing promising projects in the agricultural sector in Russia. These projects serve to ensure food security and further strengthen strategic cooperation between our two countries. We appreciate all those who consider Russia a reliable partner, and are always ready for new mutually beneficial contacts, the development of diverse relations and mutual cultural exchange."

Those words echoed in the brightly lit Kremlin hall, honoring a Vietnamese woman who chose a courageous path of dedication, spreading Vietnamese intelligence and spirit across the land of birch trees.

After receiving the Friendship Medal from President Putin, Ms. Thai Huong emotionally shared: " I don't know how to describe it, I just know that I am moved and happy to meet President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin - the heart of Russia; to feel the great warmth and kindness of him, who is gradually rebuilding the greatness of the benevolent Russia. For the achievement honored today, I would like to sincerely thank him, thank the Russian Federation government and the leadership team of the provinces I visited to implement the project; and I would also like to thank the Party, State and people of Vietnam for supporting, fostering the heroic qualities of a businessman in me and creating conditions for me to invest in the Russian Federation during the embargo period.

From the dream of clean milk to the fields of Russia

The journey of Labor Hero Thai Huong from Nghia Dan (Nghe An) to the Kremlin is a journey of strategic thinking and aspiration to serve the community.

In 2009, she founded TH Group, starting a revolution in the Vietnamese dairy industry with the philosophy of "Cherishing Mother Nature, humans are the main subject, on the basis of sustainable development", along with a closed production model "from pasture to glass of milk", the foundation for a modern high-tech agriculture.

After just over a decade, TH has become a pioneer in the green economy and circular economy, not only contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese milk, but also creating new trust in real products, real values and real people. From that foundation, Ms. Thai Huong decided to bring the Vietnamese brand to the world with a bold move: investing in the Russian Federation during the period when this country was under economic embargo.

In 2015, when many international corporations withdrew, she chose to "go against the wind", deploying a total investment of more than 2.7 billion USD in a chain of high-tech agricultural projects stretching from Moscow, Kaluga, the Republic of Bashkortostan to the Far East Primorsky region, forming a national-scale clean food production, processing and distribution network in Russia. She explained: "In investment, the most important thing is strategy. What I like most about the project in Russia is that I really came up with a very valuable product strategy: choosing milk, an agricultural product that brings eternal value: health to people. We shared the shortage of milk during the embargo period with Russia and the Russian people. Although not much, it is the heart, the path: bringing science and technology and management science into agriculture."

The three main pillars of the TH project chain in the Russian Federation are currently of national scale. In Kaluga province, TH has built a large-scale dairy farm complex combined with a clean fresh milk processing factory, applying modern technology from advanced countries such as Germany, Sweden, Israel, etc., a leading fresh milk production center of Vietnamese enterprises abroad.

In Moscow province, the group develops a high-tech dairy farm and prepares to build a processing plant to serve Russia's largest consumer market, while deploying a modern distribution and logistics system in the capital Moscow, forming a closed supply chain for TH true MILK Russia products.

At the same time, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, TH is developing a high-tech agricultural project combining medicinal plant cultivation and organic food processing, aiming for export; and in the Primorsky Far East region, implementing a dairy farm with a scale of 6,000 cows, with an investment capital of more than 200 million USD, aiming to supply milk to the Asia-Pacific region.

These projects not only have economic value, but are also symbols of sharing and trust - when in the most difficult times of its friends, Vietnam has a businessman who chose to accompany Russia, with knowledge, technology, and above all, with human responsibility.

“I am a person who loves Russia very much. I also admire Russian President Vladimir Putin. Of the three men who have had the greatest influence on my business life, two belong to the Soviet Union and the great Russia: the character Pavel Korchagin in How the Steel Was Tempered and Mr. President Putin - he is my idol.

I am truly happy to meet him in person for the second time. Vladimir Putin is an outstanding son of Russia. He is not only an outstanding leader of the Russian Federation but also a leader of the world. He is a symbol of the Russian people: majestic and generous, strong and holy.

And finally, I would like to say that Russia has always been a symbol of strength, kindness and resilience. In the minds of Vietnamese people in general and myself in particular, Russia is a great friend, a beautiful memory of years of studying, working, sharing beliefs and ideals of peace, justice and humanity.

Promoting that spirit, TH Group is continuing to expand its strategy in the Russian Federation, developing a chain of clean, organic food products, applying science and technology, circular economy and knowledge economy, taking advantage of large land, clean water, temperate climate to produce food for Russia and export to the world.

She affirmed: “Faced with the issue of food security and food safety, Russia has the conditions to develop food sources not only for Russia but also for export to countries around the world, fully promoting the advantages of agricultural products, from clean to organic products.”

The understanding, facilitation and support of the two governments, along with the tireless efforts of TH people, the progress of the Project has brought about positive socio-economic impacts, contributing to the restructuring of the agricultural sector, reviving tens of thousands of hectares of abandoned agricultural land in Moscow and Kaluga into fertile fields, creating more than 500 jobs for Russian workers, becoming a meaningful symbol of "people's diplomacy".
