Russia awards Friendship Medal to Hero of Labor Thai Huong

According to VNA correspondent in the Russian Federation, Hero of Labor Thai Huong, Chairwoman of the TH Group 's Strategy Council, was honored to be one of five delegates from Italy, Sri Lanka, Israel, Germany and Vietnam to receive the Friendship Medal personally awarded by President Vladimir Putin.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Putin stressed that Russia always treasures loyal friends and is honored to recognize the contributions of outstanding representatives of intellectuals, creatives and businessmen from many countries. President Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia is grateful to all those who consider Russia a reliable partner and will always be open to mutually beneficial, multifaceted and culturally enriching relations.

President Putin highly appreciated TH Group's agricultural projects in Russia, expressing his belief that these projects will contribute to ensuring food security and deepening the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

Extremely moved by the honor of representing Vietnam to receive the prestigious award, Hero of Labor Thai Huong thanked the head of state of Russia for his warmth and hospitality and for his great service to Russia. Ms. Thai Huong respectfully thanked the leaders of Russia and the authorities of the provinces where TH invested for creating conditions for Vietnamese businessmen to create success for their businesses, worthy of the title of heroic businessmen in the career of "making the land bloom".

At the welcoming ceremony organized by the Embassy on the same day, Labor Hero Thai Huong shared her feelings about this honor. According to her, when choosing Russia to invest, she chose according to the guidance of her heart, choosing the country that is a great friend of Vietnam. The key to TH's success today, according to her, is the product strategy. Following the path of bringing science and technology and management science into agriculture, TH's milk output has shared the milk shortage during the embargo period with Russia and the Russian people.

In 2025, TH Group inaugurated a milk processing plant in Kaluga province. Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi assessed this as a symbolic investment project of a private enterprise in Russia. Despite the difficult context, TH still invested and operated effectively. Currently, phase one of the project has a capacity of 500 tons of milk/day, expected to increase to 1,000 tons in phase two. The Ambassador affirmed that the fact that Ms. Thai Huong was awarded the Friendship Medal by President Vladimir Putin is an honor for the individual entrepreneur and TH enterprise, but at the same time, it is also proof that Russia attaches great importance to cooperation with Vietnam and highly values Vietnamese enterprises.

Sharing with VNA reporters in Russia about the upcoming plan, businesswoman Thai Huong said that TH will continue to implement existing projects as originally planned, introducing healthy product sets to Russian consumers, taking advantage of achievements in science and technology and management science that have been successful in the world, green economy, knowledge economy, circular economy to fully exploit the advantages of land and water. From the perspective of an investor in agriculture, she sees that Russia has a large, fertile land resource, clean land, clean water to develop food sources not only for Russia but also for export to countries around the world, fully promoting the advantages of agricultural products, from clean to organic products.

Setting out a strategy to cherish Mother Nature, people as the main subject on the basis of sustainable development and implementing brand building and distribution system in Russia, TH Group aims to become a national brand of Russia, affirming the prestige and capacity of Vietnamese investors in the international arena.
