
The two sides discussed the results of cooperation between Da Nang and Thuringia state in the fields of labor, health , society and the needs and directions of cooperation in the coming time.
Mr. Frank Schulze said that Thuringia state is facing an aging population, with an expected shortage of 100,000 workers in the coming years. The locality is currently working to develop policies to attract young workers to work.

Mr. Frank Schulze highly appreciated the quality of human resources in Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular and wished to cooperate in recruiting human resources, especially in the fields of healthcare, food industry, machinery and equipment manufacturing, socio- economics , etc.

Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of the city Nguyen Qui Quy informed that a number of universities and colleges in Da Nang city have sent students to Thuringia state to work under cooperation programs in the fields of nursing, food technology, culinary arts, etc.
The city hopes that in the near future the two sides will sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in human resource development.
