Linh Nam Ward builds safe schools

On November 5, at Thuy Linh Primary School, the People's Committee of Linh Nam Ward organized a ceremony to respond to the "Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" in 2025; building a model of "Safe school in terms of security and order".

In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of Linh Nam Ward People's Committee Duong Van Hoa emphasized: "Vietnam Law Day November 9 is not only a symbolic activity but also an occasion to remind every cadre, party member and citizen to consider compliance with the law as the foundation of discipline, a measure of fairness, and a tool to protect the rights and legitimate interests of all citizens."

In recent school years, Law Day has been actively responded to by the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the ward, agencies, and schools in the ward, and has been organized more and more systematically, with specific, practical, economical, and effective actions and tasks, many good models, creative methods, and close to the subjects. In particular, Thuy Linh Primary School has actively implemented many practical activities on school safety, school violence prevention, and traffic safety.

“The spirit of respect for the law is not only honored on Vietnam Law Day, but must become the foundation of the activities of agencies, units and schools, be imbued by all classes of people and students and become a regular cultural lifestyle of each citizen and in the social community,” Comrade Duong Van Hoa emphasized.

In her speech, Principal of Thuy Linh Primary School Nguyen Thi Ky affirmed: Each teacher and student of the school will be a small propagandist, actively spreading the spirit of respecting the law, building a safe, friendly, non-violent and law-breaking learning environment.

Student Le Khanh Ha, class 4A5, representing the entire school, spoke in response, expressing determination to strictly follow school rules, Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, wear helmets when participating in traffic and propagate to friends and relatives to do the same.

At the ceremony, delegates and students listened to the Traffic Police Department ( Hanoi City Police) deliver a presentation on the topic "Maintaining security, order and traffic safety at schools".

Students of Thuy Linh Primary School also brought a lively skit "Learning Traffic Law with Trang Ti", effectively conveying the message "Traffic safety is the happiness of every family - let's start with ourselves".
