Opening of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair 2025

Delegates pressed the button to open the 2025 Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair.

On the evening of November 5, the City Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) to organize the opening ceremony of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair 2025 at the Eastern Cultural Center Square (Le Thanh Nghi Ward, Hai Phong City).

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Hoang Minh Cuong, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City; Nguyen Thanh Sinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province; representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of some provinces and cities.

The fair is one of the important regional trade promotion activities in 2025, aiming to promote regional connectivity, promote image, expand trade and develop local economy. The event is part of the National Trade Promotion Program 2025 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The fair takes place from November 5 to 9 with more than 200 booths of more than 100 businesses, cooperatives, and craft villages from provinces and cities in the region and many localities across the country.

The diverse products on display include: agricultural products, food, consumer goods, industrial products, handicrafts, ornamental plants, etc., reflecting the potential and identity of each region.

The main exhibition areas of the fair include industrial products, handicrafts, OCOP products, typical agricultural and food products; exhibition areas for ornamental plants, fine art wood, and feng shui stones, demonstrating the unique culture and talent of artisans in the Red River Delta.

In addition to the exhibition and product introduction activities, within the framework of the fair, there are also many programs to connect trade, promote trade, introduce OCOP products, cooperate in investment and show video clips on economic, cultural and tourism development of Hai Phong and other localities in the region.

This year's fair has many new features such as the program "Livestream - Connecting brands with customers nationwide", a conference connecting trade between local businesses and distribution and export units, along with a special booth of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang and the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Son La province, bringing a unique regional experience space.

The fair brings together more than 200 booths of more than 100 businesses, cooperatives and craft villages.

Not only is it an activity to display and introduce products, the fair is also a forum for connecting trade, promoting digital transformation and building local brands, contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", stimulating consumption and developing the domestic market.

The 2025 Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair lasts until November 9.

The 2025 Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair is part of a series of trade promotion events organized by the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade from now until the end of the year, aiming for double-digit trade growth, building Hai Phong into a center connecting trade and green industry in the region.
