Comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province attended the meeting.

According to the report at the working session, after implementing the policy of rearranging administrative units, the Provincial Farmers' Association has improved its organization, stabilized its apparatus, assigned specific tasks, and ensured smooth and effective operations. The basic emulation targets ensured the set progress, of which 11 targets were completed and exceeded the plan, 3 targets reached 70% or more.
The work of developing members has been focused on. Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Farmers' Association has admitted 2,470 new members, bringing the total number of members in the province to 221,200, operating at 98 association bases. Associations at all levels continue to propagate and mobilize members and farmers to register for the title of good production and business households; after reviewing, the whole province has over 118,000 registered members and farmers.
Collective economic development has achieved positive results. In the first 10 months of 2025, the province established 12 new cooperatives and 45 cooperative groups. The Association coordinated with the Provincial Cooperative Union and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to organize 14 training courses for 820 officials and members, contributing to improving management and operation skills, developing collective economic models, etc.

The association at all levels has mobilized members to donate over 42,000 square meters of land and 18,500 working days to open roads; directed the construction of 105 models of farmers participating in protecting the rural environment, 43 models of "clean houses - beautiful gardens", 28 flower roads, green tree roads... contributing to bringing 37/89 communes to meet new rural standards.
Currently, 100% of grassroots farmers' associations have organized congresses; preparations for the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress (scheduled to take place in early December 2025) are being ensured.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and raising issues that need to be resolved in the coming time, especially solving difficulties in the management of the Lao Cai Farmers' Association due to the lack of appointed and leadership staff; attracting members at the grassroots level; managing and using the farmer support fund; training and fostering staff...

Concluding the working session, comrade Nguyen Xuan Dinh - Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Farmers' Union in the past time, and at the same time answered and clarified a number of opinions and recommendations of the delegates.
The Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union suggested that in the coming time, the Lao Cai Farmers' Union should do better in propaganda and mobilization work so that people can understand the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the two-level local government apparatus; propagate the results of the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress and grassroots farmers' unions; organize well the Lao Cai Farmers' Union Congress and contribute ideas to the Draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress...
* Previously, on the morning of November 5 , at Tran Yen commune, the working delegation of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union visited the Hanh Le Mulberry Cooperative model, Truc Dinh village; concentrated mulberry growing area; handmade silk weaving model, displaying OCOP products, key products of the commune and Vietnam Cinnamon and Star Anise Cooperative.

Currently, Tran Yen commune has over 712 hectares of mulberry, with a silkworm cocoon output of 1,188 tons; there is an automatic silk reeling factory of Yen Bai Silk and Mulberry Joint Stock Company, with a capacity of 150 tons of silk/year, linking production development according to the value chain of growing mulberry and raising silkworms, consuming all silkworm cocoon products in the commune.
Cinnamon area over 6,048 hectares, with more than 3,250 hectares of organic cinnamon meeting domestic and international standards.
Farmers' association members always actively participate in collective economy, cooperatives, and agricultural restructuring; the whole commune has 48 cooperatives, 16 OCOP products, and 71 cooperative groups.
Farmers in the commune have promoted their role as the subject and center in agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction.



At the working session with the commune leaders and the Tran Yen Farmers' Association, the Central Farmers' Association leaders listened to discussions and proposed solutions to improve farmers' lives from the local strengths.
