Love of books of "Reading Culture Ambassador"

Thanh Thanh's reading journey is like a small stream flowing steadily and quietly, nurtured through each page of books since she was a middle school girl. Her love for literature has sprouted and been watered by the teachings imbued with humanistic philosophy from her teachers. It is not just dry knowledge but also the inspiration of the beauty of language, of truth, goodness and beauty, along with many lessons about humanity in life. During those years, Thanh Thanh realized that Literature is not simply a subject, it is also where she finds harmony in her soul.

It was the dedication and burning passion of the teachers through each lecture that opened the door leading Thanh to the horizon of knowledge. Thanh Thanh not only memorized excerpts, but also truly lived and felt each character. Thanks to her deep absorption ability and rich vocabulary cultivated from continuous reading, Thanh Thanh quickly affirmed her talent. The fact that she won First Prize in Literature in the city-level excellent student competition in grade 7 was an important milestone, affirming her love and seriousness with literature.

Entering high school at Nguyen Hue High School, Thanh Thanh’s love for books became stronger and more clearly defined. She did not only read for herself, but also started thinking about how to invite her friends to join this wonderful journey.

As soon as the school announced the Yen Bai Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest (before the merger), Thanh Thanh registered to participate and won the Ambassador award. That was the motivation for Thanh to continue her journey of self-discovery with the nationwide contest - a contest organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a large playground to promote the reading movement among young people. To participate in the contest, candidates must not only have good comprehension skills but also have the ability to inspire and convince others with their own stories.

Thanh’s entry into the contest is not flowery but imbued with honesty and simplicity. It is this simplicity that creates weight, clearly depicting the magical power of books, helping readers understand that books are a silent guiding light, not simply knowledge but also spiritual medicine, helping to profoundly change perception, illuminating every “corner” of the soul.

Thanh's entry in the contest talks about how she bravely faced the ups and downs and storms of adolescence, turning those difficulties into a springboard for maturity. It touches readers with empathy, not with words. And the result is the Encouragement Prize of the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025. This award is not only a personal honor but also an affirmation of the lasting value of reading in the digital age.

This award is a solid foundation for me to continue spreading the love and passion for reading. What I hope for most is to see you actively seek out and be patient with each page of a book, because books are great friends and teachers with comprehensive knowledge.
