After the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units, the province has more favorable conditions for planning and reorganizing production by region. Resources are concentrated, production infrastructure is invested, creating a foundation for the collective economic sector to develop strongly. According to statistics, the whole province currently has more than 2,000 cooperatives, mainly agricultural cooperatives, creating stable jobs for tens of thousands of workers with an average income of 5-7 million VND/person/month. Many cooperatives have risen to become the core of the agricultural value chain, connecting production with consumption, opening a new direction in collective economic development.
Typically, Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative is one of the units that implements digital transformation in production and business with high efficiency. On average, each year, the Cooperative supplies the market with about 350 tons of mushrooms, bringing stable income to 20 member households.
V - Organic Agricultural Cooperative in Van Son commune is also one of the pioneering cooperatives in applying technology in production to increase the value of agricultural products. Established in 2021 with 7 members, on a growing area of 10 hectares, the cooperative specializes in producing safe vegetables and fruits according to organic standards. In 2024, the cooperative achieved a revenue of nearly 3 billion VND, creating regular jobs for 20 local workers, with an average income of 6 million VND/person/month. Ms. Can Thi Thuy Trang - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative said: Participating in the collective economic model helps households to closely link, reduce input costs, increase competitiveness and especially have stable output. This is the sustainable development path of farmers today.

Lotus leaf tea products of Lien Hoa Chi Production and Trading Cooperative are popular with consumers.
Not only in the agricultural sector, small-scale handicraft, trade and service cooperatives in the province have also made remarkable progress. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, Do Xuyen Bamboo Handicraft Production Cooperative in Lien Minh commune has persistently preserved the quintessence of the traditional rattan and bamboo weaving craft of the homeland. The cooperative was established with the goal of both preserving the cultural identity of the craft village and creating sustainable livelihoods for local people. Up to now, the cooperative has 8 products that meet the 4-star OCOP standard, such as: "Dragon's descendants" flower vase; "Nurturing development" flower vase; "Green bamboo of Vietnam" bamboo tray or "silver sea" tray. The cooperative maintains the production of millions of products each year, with a stable revenue of more than 8 billion VND, of which the cooperative's products are exported to the markets of Japan, Korea, the US and some European countries. The development of cooperatives brings stable income to members, contributing to the preservation of local traditional occupations.
In reality, the collective economic model not only creates stable jobs but also contributes to improving community capacity, promoting the spirit of cooperation, working together, and enjoying together. In many localities, people have changed their awareness, from small-scale, fragmented production to cooperation and chain linkage, creating concentrated commodity areas to meet market demands.
Digital transformation in the collective economic sector has also been promoted. Many cooperatives have proactively put their products on e-commerce platforms, participated in fairs, and promoted on social networks. This change in thinking helps expand the market, improve business transparency, and increase access to consumers. Along with that, the Provincial Cooperative Union is a bridge to help cooperatives introduce and promote products widely on the province's information and propaganda channels; connect to participate in e-commerce trading platforms, supermarkets, and OCOP store systems; participate in fairs and events inside and outside the province to consume products.
The collective economy is gradually asserting its role as a "support" for the new countryside, an important channel for Phu Tho people to develop sustainable livelihoods, escape poverty, and get rich on their homeland. In the coming time, the province will continue to encourage innovation, develop cooperatives and cooperatives in the fields of organic agriculture and circular agriculture, contributing to the implementation of green growth goals and improving people's lives.
