The strength of solidarity in Phong Chau ward

Promoting the role of gathering the strength of great national unity, in recent times, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations of Phong Chau ward have innovated and improved the quality of work mobilizing people to compete in creative labor, successfully implementing the goals of economic, cultural and social development, maintaining national defense and security, achieving many important results.

Cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations of Phong Chau ward attract a large number of members to participate, contributing to building cultural life at the grassroots level.

After the arrangement and merger of 3 commune-level administrative units including Phong Chau ward, Ha Thach and Phu Ho communes, the new Phong Chau ward has more than 32 thousand people in 25 residential areas. The large area, large population, relatively high and fairly uniform level of awareness of the people are favorable conditions for mobilizing people to participate in campaigns and movements to promote economic and social development in the locality such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; movement "For the poor - no one is left behind",...

In order for the movements and campaigns to be implemented effectively and create a widespread effect, every year, the Fatherland Front at all levels and socio-political organizations have deployed deeply and widely to each residential area in the area. Member organizations of the Fatherland Front have proactively developed plans to implement the campaign in conjunction with the political tasks of each agency and unit, suitable for each locality and target group, thereby attracting and gathering a large number of people from all walks of life to participate, creating great internal strength to successfully carry out the political, economic and social tasks of the ward.

People actively participate in environmental sanitation to build a clean, civilized urban landscape.

With 21 rural residential areas, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee identified one of the key tasks as effectively mobilizing the implementation of the Campaign "All people build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" to build an increasingly developed homeland and constantly improve the quality of life for the people.

On that basis, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations focus on widely deploying to residential areas in the area many specific and practical contents and movements. Focus on propaganda, mobilizing union members, association members and people of all walks of life to contribute money, assets, working days... together with the State's resources to build new rural areas and advanced new rural areas. At the same time, strongly arouse the spirit of solidarity, help each other, rise up from poverty and become rich legitimately.

Thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, the people have donated over 1,000 ^square meters of land and assets on land to expand roads and build public welfare works; 200 working days to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas... Up to now, the whole ward has 21 residential areas meeting new rural standards, of which 9 residential areas are recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards.

Youth Union members organize activities to give gifts to disadvantaged students in the area, taking the lead in community life.

By diversifying the launching and organizing cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations of Phong Chau ward, it has made an important contribution to mobilizing and gathering people to participate in building a cultural life, preserving and promoting the national cultural identity. At the same time, coordinating with member organizations and relevant agencies to continue implementing environmental protection, responding to climate change; implementing the movements "All people protect national security", "All people participate in ensuring traffic order and safety" to mobilize the combined strength of the political system and all people to participate in preventing and repelling all kinds of crimes and social evils, maintaining security, order, social safety, building a healthy and safe society...

In the period of 2020-2025, the economy continues to maintain development, achieving a good growth rate, with an average annual growth rate of 12.9%. People's lives have gradually improved. The whole ward has 13 OCOP products. Political security and social order and safety are basically guaranteed... This is also a premise for the ward to continue to successfully implement socio-economic development goals in the period of 2025-2030 and the following years.

Comrade Do Truong Quan - Chairman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee said: The Fatherland Front will continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation; diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering towards the grassroots and residential areas to build and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc, thereby attracting a large number of union members, association members and people of all walks of life to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, create social consensus, and contribute to the successful implementation of the set socio-economic development goals. The Fatherland Front will continue to perform well its function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; promote democracy, improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism activities, prevent corruption and waste; strengthen consensus, promote socio-economic development, build a civilized urban area, for the goal of building a ward with comprehensive and sustainable development.
