Tra Tan commune has more than 30 houses collapsed, swept away, and completely buried.

DNO - Landslides and flash floods in recent days have caused dozens of houses in Tra Tan commune to collapse and be swept away.

On the morning of October 30, Mr. Nguyen Hong Lai, Secretary of the Tra Tan Commune Party Committee, said that according to preliminary statistics, at least 32 houses in the locality were collapsed, swept away, and completely buried. Of which, at Ong Yen peak, flash floods completely swept away 11 houses; at Ong Thuong peak, landslides completely collapsed 11 houses.

In addition, many houses are at high risk of being swept away by rising river water and buried by landslides; 22 houses were flooded, some up to 2 meters deep.

The roads leading to the commune administrative center are flooded in many places and are completely isolated.

Up to this point, no human casualties have been recorded in the commune. There were 6 cases of injuries in the landslides, but they were discovered and promptly transferred to emergency care.

Currently, Tra Tan commune continues to check and ensure food, food, and drinking water for the people. At the same time, closely monitor the situation of floods and landslides to promptly support the evacuation of people and property to safety.
