Rescue 2 people hanging on bamboo in flood water

On the morning of October 30, a local resident whose boat capsized in the middle of the raging water on Thang Long extended road (Da Nang city) was rescued by police and local residents while clinging to a bamboo tree.

At 9:25 a.m. on October 30, while patrolling the extended Thang Long road, the section bordering Cam Le ward and Ba Na commune ( Da Nang city), the authorities discovered a resident whose boat had capsized, clinging to a bamboo bush in the middle of a rushing stream.

Immediately, the forces borrowed boats from nearby people, approached the scene downstream, and promptly rescued the victims.

On the morning of October 30, information from the People's Committee of Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai province, said that last night, October 29, authorities and people rescued a man who fell off a bridge and was stuck in floodwaters.

At about 9:10 p.m. on October 29, the People's Committee of Son Ha commune received a report that a man was trapped in a bamboo bush in the middle of floodwaters at Xa Trach bridge, Go Gao village (Son Ha commune).

At about 9:45 p.m. the same day, authorities successfully rescued the man to shore safely.

Through verification, before that, there was heavy rain in the area, the stream water was rising and flowing over the bridge, at this time, Mr. D.V.Th. (residing in Xa Trach hamlet, Go Gao village, Son Ha commune) was driving a motorbike carrying a passenger sitting behind crossing the bridge and got into an accident. Fortunately, the passenger sitting behind was able to swim to shore in time and call for help.

Mr. Th. was slightly injured and was taken to the medical station for examination after reaching the shore. His health condition is now stable. At 7:15 a.m. on October 30, Mr. Th.'s motorbike was found near Xa Trach bridge.

This morning, October 30, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai Province Police received a report that Mr. LBH (born in 2000), residing in Phuoc Loc Tay village, Son Tinh commune, was swept away by floodwaters and went missing on the night of October 29, while on his way home from work through a flooded road in Lam Loc Nam village, Son Tinh commune.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department immediately mobilized 1 specialized vehicle, 1 motorboat with rescue vehicles and 20 officers and soldiers to quickly approach the scene, coordinate with the police force, commune militia and local people to organize the search for the victim.

Authorities search for victims swept away by floodwaters on their way home from work.

After more than 3 hours of searching, at 10:00 a.m. on October 30, authorities found the victim's body in a deeply flooded field in Lam Loc Nam village, Son Tinh commune.
