Nearly 200 delegates attended the conferences, including village and hamlet officials, village elders, influential community leaders, mass organization officials, and grassroots officials from ethnic minority areas of the two communes.
|
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hue, Deputy Director of State Legal Aid Center No. 1, delivered a speech at the conference. |
At the conference, speakers conveyed the basic contents of the 2017 Legal Aid Law; introduced the beneficiaries, forms, and procedures for requesting legal aid; and the rights and obligations of those receiving legal aid. Simultaneously, many practical legal situations related to civil disputes, marriage and family, land disputes, etc., were incorporated, making it easy for participants to understand, remember, and conveniently apply the law in disseminating information at the grassroots level.
In addition to theoretical content, trainees also watched a documentary on legal aid activities, participated in group discussions, exchanged specific legal case studies, and were provided with legal documents, leaflets, and brochures to support their local legal awareness campaigns.

A large number of village and hamlet officials from Cu M'ta commune participated in the training course. |
Cư M'ta and Ea Drông are two predominantly agricultural communes where people face many difficulties in life, with high rates of poverty and near-poverty; many ethnic minority people do not have adequate access to legal information and are hesitant to use legal services. Organizing training sessions on accessing legal aid in these areas is a practical activity, helping grassroots officials, village elders, and influential people to acquire the knowledge and skills to identify, guide, and refer people to free legal aid services provided by the State.
The 2025 training plan for legal aid outreach centers is one of the key activities of the State Legal Aid Center No. 1 in implementing the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. This contributes to raising legal awareness, maintaining social order and safety, and ensuring equal access to justice for all citizens.
