The First Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dak Lak Province, term 2025 - 2030

On December 16th and 17th, at the Provincial Party Committee Hall, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held its first delegate congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the congress were Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations; Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Y Giang Gry Niê Knơng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; former Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of Dak Lak and Phu Yen (formerly) provinces from previous terms; Mr. Pham Huy Nghe, Hero of the Armed Forces; former leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province from previous terms; representatives of leaders from departments, agencies, and 258 delegates representing all strata of the people, classes, ethnic groups, religions, and armed forces in the province.

Over the past period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have closely followed the local political tasks, proactively implementing the Resolution of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns have been implemented effectively and have had a profound and widespread impact. In particular, the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025" resulted in the construction and repair of 8,915 houses throughout the province, achieving 100% of the plan.

The provincial "For the Poor" Fund has raised over 386.4 billion VND, through which it has visited and presented thousands of gifts to the poor with a total value of over 35.731 billion VND, built 768 solidarity houses with a total value of 37.619 billion VND; and supported livelihoods for poor and near-poor households to develop production with a total of 10.368 billion VND. Efforts to mobilize relief and support for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters continue to be implemented promptly and transparently.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has continuously strengthened its organization and innovated its content and methods of operation; enhanced social supervision and criticism, promoted the people's right to self-governance, and reformed the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels; consolidated and expanded the great national unity bloc, focusing strongly on the grassroots and residential areas. The operation of local government according to the two-tier model has been emphasized and implemented synchronously and decisively, contributing to ensuring smooth and effective operation.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province strives to complete 100% of the contents of the annual social monitoring and criticism plan; build at least 1,000 new solidarity houses; mobilize support for at least 1,000 poor and near-poor households to escape poverty sustainably through livelihood development models; and implement the "Digital Fatherland Front Portal" to receive suggestions 24/7…

In his address to the congress, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that, entering a new term, Dak Lak province is facing promising development opportunities, but also numerous intertwined challenges. In this context, the Fatherland Front must be the center of unity, the common home to gather and mobilize all strata of the people to work together to achieve the common goals set forth in the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province should leverage the strength of the new model, ensuring smooth and synchronized operation; adhere closely to the General Secretary To Lam's directives of "3 close - 5 must - 4 don't"; better promote the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; further improve social welfare work, sustainable poverty reduction, new rural development, and civilized urban development, contributing to gradually narrowing the development gap between regions in the new Dak Lak province; accelerate comprehensive digital transformation in the Front's activities; and continue to consolidate and streamline the organizational structure of the Fatherland Front at all levels towards efficient and effective operation.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province during the past term. He suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province should continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation in a way that is close to the grassroots, grounded in reality, and uses effectiveness and social consensus as a measure. Front activities should be implemented more substantively and in depth, linked to political tasks and the lives of the people, avoiding formality and superficiality.

Furthermore, it is necessary to focus on promoting the representative role, gathering and mobilizing all strata of the people; arousing patriotism, a sense of responsibility and creativity among the people, creating broad social consensus, contributing to the successful achievement of socio-economic development goals and ensuring national defense and security of the locality.

The Congress elected 116 out of 120 members to the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030; and elected a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, consisting of 17 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

Comrade Y Giang Gry Niê Knơng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the first term, 2025-2030.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented gifts to congratulate the congress; the Provincial Party Committee presented the congress with a banner bearing the inscription "Unity - Democracy - Consensus - Innovation - Development," expressing the profound trust of the Party Committee and the government in the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the coming term.
