The specialized inspection team of Department C11 worked with the Gia Lai Provincial Police.

(GLO) - On the morning of October 30th, a specialized inspection team from the Department of Police for the Management of Detention, Custody and Execution of Criminal Sentences in the Community (Department C11, Ministry of Public Security), led by Colonel Nguyen Van Yen - Deputy Director, held a working session with the Gia Lai Provincial Police.

The meeting aimed to announce the results of a thematic inspection on the work of detention, education , implementation of regulations for detainees and those under temporary custody; judicial assistance and management of evidence storage at the Gia Lai Provincial Police Department.

Based on the inspection conducted over three days (from October 27th to 29th), the inspection team assessed that the Gia Lai Provincial Police had effectively carried out the work of temporary detention and custody, efficiently serving the investigation, prosecution, and trial work of the judicial authorities; ensuring compliance with the law while always adhering to the humane policies of the Party and the State, without any errors occurring.

However, the inspection team also discovered some shortcomings due to objective factors that need to be addressed promptly. Notably, the arrangement of temporary detention facilities is still irrational, and there are not many innovative initiatives to improve the quality of work. Some temporary detention facilities are also slow to receive investment and upgrades in technological equipment to meet operational requirements.

The delegation requested the Gia Lai Provincial Police to learn from experience and promptly address the shortcomings in order to continue performing their assigned duties well, contributing to the successful completion of the task of maintaining security and order in the area.
