With the determination of the Party Committee and the local government in implementing the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction, Khao Mang commune has issued appropriate plans, regulations, and guidelines, creating favorable conditions for implementation in the area.

To achieve poverty reduction goals, Khao Mang commune has implemented many comprehensive solutions, with a focus on universal health insurance. By 2025, the percentage of the commune's population participating in health insurance is estimated to reach 99.98%, achieving 100% of the assigned plan.

In addition, the locality has provided employment for 141 workers, achieving 100% of the plan; including 9 workers who went to work abroad under contract, and 48 workers who shifted from the agricultural sector to the non-agricultural sector. The rate of trained workers reached 65%, equaling 100% of the plan; of which, the rate of trained workers with diplomas and certificates reached 30%.
