Long Phu Commune handed over 2 solidarity houses

(CTO) - On October 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phu Commune (Can Tho City) held a ceremony to hand over 2 Great Unity houses to households in difficult circumstances in the commune. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Lam Tien Thach, City Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council, along with leaders of the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and the sponsoring unit.

Two houses were given to Mr. Ly Binh, residing in Khoang Tang hamlet and Mr. Danh Hoang Tam, residing in Soc Moi hamlet. Each house has an area of ​​36m², built in the structure of a level 4 house, with a total construction cost of 50 million VND/house, supported by the Commune's "Fund for the Poor" Committee from the Thien Nhan Association of Ho Chi Minh City and Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Trinh (daughter of revolutionary Duong Ky Hiep).

Mr. Ly Binh and Mr. Danh Hoang Tam thanked the locality and benefactors for creating conditions for the family to have a stable place to live, work with peace of mind, and gradually improve their lives.
