Construction of the People's Bridge and the Great Unity House began

On the afternoon of October 21, Kien Thiet commune held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two projects: the Solidarity Bridge in Nam Bo village and the Great Solidarity House in Lang Lam village.

Commune leaders and people started construction of the Doan Ket Bridge in Nam Bo village.

The Doan Ket People's Bridge is an essential traffic project, serving the travel of more than 300 households in the three villages of Nam Bo, Khuoi Khit and Khuoi Can. The bridge is 25m long, 3.5m wide, with a total estimated cost of 500 million VND.

The project is the result of the coordination between the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune, units of Mountain Light, Vietnam Children's Fund and philanthropist Le Thi Min. Of which, the units and philanthropists supported 380 million VND, the rest was contributed by local people. The completion of the bridge will contribute to ensuring traffic safety, promoting trade and socio- economic development of the region.

On the same afternoon, the construction of the Great Solidarity House worth 500 million VND was started for three orphaned sisters Dao Thi May, Dao Thuy Nhi and Dao Nhat Vy, in Lang Lam village, a family with especially difficult circumstances.

The Commune Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized sponsors to support 80 million VND, the rest is supported by financial contributions and working days of socio -political organizations and families.

The simultaneous implementation of these two projects is a clear demonstration of the community's spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other". The projects affirm the locality's deep concern for infrastructure development and social security, aiming to build a society that leaves no one behind.
