Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that recently, Lam Dong province has continuously experienced prolonged heavy rains, causing landslides and widespread flooding, many traffic routes were blocked, thousands of households had to be urgently evacuated, causing great damage to people and property, seriously affecting people's lives and production.
The province has directed urgent response and timely overcoming of the consequences of the floods. However, the weather is still complicated after the floods, the lives of the affected people are still difficult. During the night of December 3 and the early morning of December 4, some places continued to be affected, with landslides on the pass.
Comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province shared the difficulties and losses that Lam Dong is facing. Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to join hands to help people affected by natural disasters, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province have allocated a total of 3 billion VND in support, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love", towards Lam Dong in difficult times, and at the same time hoping that the support will contribute to helping Lam Dong soon stabilize people's lives after the floods.
On behalf of the leaders and people of Lam Dong province, Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, sincerely thanked the sentiments and timely support of Tuyen Quang province, demonstrating the friendship between the two sister provinces. The support fund will be allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province for the right purpose and in a timely manner to the people in the damaged areas.
