Attending and chairing the program were Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Economic - Defense Group 778; along with comrades in the Party Committee, the Group Command Board; representatives of the Standing Party Committees of the 3 communes of Phu Nghia, Dak O, Bu Gia Map (Dong Nai) and many village elders, village chiefs, and prestigious people of ethnic minorities in the project area.

In 2025, the Youth Union will deploy many movements and programs to promote the role of village elders, village chiefs and prestigious people among ethnic minorities, creating a core in the great solidarity bloc, accompanying the unit in propaganda work, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; develop family economy, actively participate in the movement to build a cultural life and strive to escape poverty sustainably.

The key contents that the Delegation coordinated were: Supporting economic development, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction; participating in new rural construction; propagating to maintain security and order; raising vigilance against distorted, inciting, and divisive arguments that divide the great national unity bloc.

The 778 Economic - Defense Group has effectively implemented a series of practical social security models such as "Houses of Military - Civilian Gratitude", the program "Helping Children Go to School", "Eating Tet with the People" and production support activities. Through these programs, in 2025, the unit coordinated to donate 29 houses of gratitude; sponsored more than 100 disadvantaged students; supported trees and seedlings; opened vocational training classes, created jobs; at the same time, gave gifts, medicines, scholarships and built welfare works to serve the lives of people in the project area.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Hoang Van Hung respectfully acknowledged the close coordination and important contributions of ethnic minority representatives to the military-defense tasks and mass mobilization work of the unit. The consensus and trust of the people is a great source of motivation to help strengthen the solidarity between the army and the people. Colonel Hoang Van Hung also hopes that local Party committees, authorities, organizations and political systems at the grassroots level will continue to accompany and coordinate with Economic-Defense Group 778 in propagating the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies; maintaining political security, social order and safety and building a strong and comprehensive border area.
