In his opening speech, comrade Duong Anh Duc, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, shared: The award for composing and promoting works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" is not only a professional activity but also a broad political and cultural activity, spreading the spirit of following Uncle Ho throughout society. Thereby contributing to strongly promoting the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho among cadres, party members, artists, journalists and all classes of people in the City.

After more than two years of launching, the second round of awards attracted 314 entries in many fields. The final jury selected a total of 115 City-level awards, including: Professional block: 6 A prizes, 13 B prizes, 19 C prizes, 12 Encouragement prizes; along with 14 groups and 16 individuals winning promotion prizes. Movement block: 4 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 9 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes.

In addition, the Organizing Committee honored 12 works that won Central-level awards, including 2 promotion awards, 2 B awards, 4 C awards and 4 Encouragement awards.

According to the final judging panel, the level of works this year has clearly improved. The entries span many fields: Literature, music , theater, cinema, fine arts, dance, architecture, journalism and publishing. Many works show deep thoughts, vividly portraying the image of President Ho Chi Minh and typical examples of studying and following him in daily life.

In addition to being close to reality, many works promote humanity, have creative expressions and inspire the spirit of patriotic emulation, contributing to building a rich and healthy cultural life in the community. Notably, the large participation of young creative forces and first-time authors shows the strong influence of the creative movement at the grassroots level.
