Sharing about this special experience, An Thu An said: “I was very moved to bring Vietnamese music to the soldiers and people of Laos. The close, sincere atmosphere and the welcome from everyone made me clearly feel the connection between the two peoples.” She also happily added: “The lovely comments from Lao friends, including the questions… ‘Will you marry a Lao man’, made me laugh and feel extremely affectionate.”
The prominent appearance of An Thu An is considered a highlight in a series of important commemorative activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of Vietnam-Laos friendship.

Born in 2000 in Ninh Binh , An Thu An (real name Nguyen Thi Thu An) showed her musical talent from an early age and won many awards in school art competitions. At the age of 18, she won the Talented Beauty award and entered the top 10 of the Hoa Lu Beauty Contest - Ninh Binh Province Beauty Contest. After that, she studied Vocal Music at the Military University of Culture and Arts and officially entered the professional art path.
In 2022, An Thu An was runner-up in Sao Mai. In 2024, she officially released the MV "Tu Than" with strong folk features, composed by musician Pham Viet Tuan, directed and produced by Vu Hong Thang. The product attracted attention thanks to its neat images, clear script ideas and reached number 4 on the iTunes Vietnam chart, marking a remarkable start in the singer's career.
